Commercial Fisherman Anacortes, WA
During my time as a commercial fisherman, I ran the hydraulics which controlled the purse net. I also stacked corks and lead lines in an organized manner so as to avoid injuries on the boat. Processing fish was a daily task that was also important to the welfare of the ship and its company. Our success was dependent on proper care of the boat, the gear, and the product.

I can communicate in an effective and respectful way with those around me. I am very capable of expressing my thoughts appropriately and in a tactful manner.
Marine Engineering
Successfully rebuilt from top to bottom a 30-foot Bayliner with my father as my senior project. The boat still runs sturdy and strong to this day.
