Infrastructure - Mergers and Acquisitions (Wells Fargo/Wachovia Bank) – Successfully managed $11 Million dollar budget, saving 3 million by control of budget and software vendor concessions. Executed Infrastructure and software compliance changes, storage expansion, table scrubbing, and testing prior to merging Wachovia data into Wells Fargo systems.

Managed migration to a more efficient customer phone number verification platform that will process verification in real time to ensure that customer information is up to date, reduce the number of fraud events, as well provide satisfaction for customers. This project was a high visibility project Involving 8 scrum teams and 8 applications.

Improved customer phone number verification platform that normally took 2 days to complete verification in real time.

Managed Wells Fargo/Wachovia merger across multiple business lines, and application integration and systems refresh and build out projects in relation to Wells. Application mergers included risk management, development, test plans, test scripts, IST and QA testing.

Managed multiple lines of business individual budgets which included all resources, vendor, and equipment expenses to roll up to one total budget of $11 million dollars. Kept budget within the 1% variance. Coordinated business stakeholders and translated needs to application and network teams. Followed EPM project management methodology for deliverables which mirrors PMI standards; throughout the project life cycle, meeting documentation requirements and change management procedures in accordance with the enterprise. Responsible for project status and monthly financial reporting.

Oversaw scope, budget forecast, business requirements, project planning, and execution of projects.

Currently we are using a customer phone number verification platform that takes 2 days to complete verification. During this time, customers may experience inability to do transactions, support calls increase, and we could lose customer trust. We are now migrating this data to a more efficient platform that will process verification in real time. This will ensure that customer information is up to date, and reduce the number of fraud events, as well as satisfy the customer.

Vendor Management

Developed requirements for statement of work, negotiate costs, and deliverable timelines. Monitored costs, and assured vendors adhere to the agreed upon scheduling, and coordinated with in-house teams to receive updates as available. Managed issues that may occur with vendors and mediated between in house teams and vendors should issues between them occur. Also managed Quality Control Reviews prior to release.
