•Geopolymer mortar is an innovative, environment friendly, sustainable and green technology in the construction industry. Geopolymer mortar is the new development in the field of building constructions in which cement is totally replaced by pozzolanic materials like fly ash, activated by alkaline solution. When it is introduced in concrete as a replacement material, it reduces the environmental pollution and also reduces the cost of concrete. Geopolymer mortar can sustain for higher temperature and fire resistance when compared to OPC.
