Challenge: The MIT Museum is in a two year process to move their entire collection. I am responsible for designing and building supports and crates for historical inventions, paintings and sculptures
EXHIBIT SPECIALIST / PREPARATOR/CURATORIAL ASSISTANT

Challenge: To install from architecture to finished presentation 10–12 exhibits per year, including fine art, sculpture, and graphic panels. To mat and frame all works on paper, including rare New York documents, etchings, and lithographs. To manage traveling exhibits, assisting visiting curators from The Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Chicago Field Museum, and a three year project to produce the 9/11 Exhibit after the tragedy at the World Trade Center

Hired to develop Great Art Series, resulting in doubling of museum attendance.
Ensured museum’s ability to accommodate tens of thousands of additional visitors per month (1/2 million per year) following opening of The World Trade Center 9/11 exhibit.
Saved NY State education dollars by restricting outsourcing and installing exhibits in-house, leading to more money being available for children’s programming
Never missed exhibit deadline by consistently working overtime and streamlining design procedures, resulting in the museum being voted by Metroland newspaper as “Best Museum” for seven years in a row. Conducted improvements for 3 acre of exhibit space, including repairs, construction, and facilitating the installation of a $2.5M fire protection system.
