Provided/providing engineering design and construction support of the Basewide 12.47kV and 34.5kV pole and ductbank distribution consisting of new 34.5kV-12.47kV Substations and over sixteen miles of pole and line work including SCADA OASyS monitoring and Control.
Base infrastructure including pumping and booster stations and associated SCADA-Mate RFcontrols were also added basewide at user identified locations.
Successful development of over 70 new pole framing design details reflecting GO95, NESC, REAguidelines and UFC requirements. Sag and Tension calculations utilizing Southwire SAG10 software were provided to support the pole, line and associated hardware design.
The project also consisted of developing design guidelines and associated construction details for the Avian Raptor Protection system added as a requirement following award of the contract. These Avian Raptor Protection design guidelines and details have been adopted for construction at DOD Computer and Communications sites in Southern California.
Technology Systems.
Provided complete engineering studies and construction documents for new Embassy Campuses as well as recommending and including Additions and Upgrades at existing consular facilities.
All work met or exceeded RIP OBO criteria.

Responsible for 420,000 Sq.Ft. Electrical Engineering design services and construction administration portion of this Project.
Project consisted of a seven-level intensive care hospital including Data Centers, medical imaging suites, operating rooms, emergency and trauma suites, ICU, and in-patient bedrooms for various level of care.
Project included the re-routing of a portion of the existing underground 12kV campus loop with SCADA OASyS monitoring and control, the addition of a 480Y/277V emergency feeder supporting this project, and existing Central Plant upgrade. Calculation of the Arc-Flash Hazard and Analysis was provided based on IEEE 1584TM-2004a for the 15kv-480V, 3 phase systems.
Provided weekly Field Inspection of site for assessment of work completion and construction challenges. Attend construction meetings with architect and subcontractors, review design drawings, direct subcontractors and answer their questions, review contractors’ submittals, direct the Electrical commissioning team and approve Electrical commissioning test results.

Successful upgrades for both power conditioning, backup, and remote RF monitoring resulting from my design for the addition of integrated rack mountable UPS systems for the Puerto Rico projects. The addition board mounted cards allowed/s for the monitoring and control for the complete project both locally and from the San Diego office.
I provide complete engineering design and management for the Peace Bridge project included the new design for the toll stations, active signage/graphics, integration between existing and new Smart Pass technology, roadway sensing and light bars, booth design inclusive of all components. System feeders were MV with SCADA/OASyS control.
I oversaw the manufacturing of the system controllers including lab and field testing of all hardware, hardwired and RF I/O systems. Provided new lighting design for higher efficiency illumination systems (LED) serving both field safety conditions and violation & processing components.
The development of the equipment I designed and, for which I oversaw the manufacturing and testing of, were submitted for listing to UL and FCCto obtained required licensing for usage in Canada by the border security agencies.
