I entered the Nevada National Guard (1/221 Cavalry – Tank Battalion) and choose the technical position of Radio Operator (31C). I also operated numerous Military HUMVEE and M35 2 ton vehicles as well.

In 2004 I was activated in support of “Operation Noble Eagle” to Fort Irwin in California along with my Unit. I held the position of a Training Soldier in the preparation of warfare for Military Unit deployment use, in which I helped train all the individual Units that came to Fort Irwin, in advanced tactics.

Army National Guard (Active Duty): For my activation in 2003 I was activated in support of “Operation Enduring Freedom”. My assignment’s included serving as a Security Forces Policeman, where patrolling of the living quarters and all of the facilities and buildings were conducted on the main Base that housed many living quarters and the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center Hospital as well.

ACHIEVEMENTS:
I received an Army Achievement Medal in 2003 for my support in the saving of a Soldiers life and securing his gear until it was picked up by the proper Military personnel.
I received special recognition by the Air force in response to a downed Aircraft which carried secret material, in which I personally choose the assignment to watch over it as it was dismantled by the proper personnel.
