I worked on metal shelters, repairing and new fabrication. I work in special projects and manufacturing. All sections were required to forklift driver. And I was one of four. I had on my lic. 3K electric to 20k diesel, including shooting boom forklift. Forklifts that ran of wire on floor.
My duties as a driver were to support my group, and I was also required to support and cover other groups on the floor due to the drivers being TDY and supporting them as well. I unloaded trucks with 29 ft. long material and brought in the building with doors that were 20 ft wide. I work Lift that ran on wire that the racks were to 35 ft, up. As the Base closed, I was used for the last year & half as I drive to load truck due to base closure.
