Work Experience
Election Worker
Lubbock, TX
November 2022 to November 2022
Employment during elections, are both interesting and rewarding. The communal interactions are really fulfilling. Though seasonal, I worked as a Poll Worker. The job consisted of greeting customers to and from poll stations, fulfilling the duty of checking identification records via electronic, and swiftly answering any questions voters had about the ballot process. As you could imagine, the work was extremely fast paced, and upbeat. Nonetheless, it taught me the importance of community, and how to multitask in a proper and professional manner.
Sacker/Cashier
United Supermarkets - Lubbock, TX
April 2022 to August 2022
At my employment at United Supermarkets, I was a sacker. The responsibilities consisted of: greeting customers upon entering and exiting the establishment, training other crew members, handling merchandise properly, whilst keeping customers in the best interest, all the while remaining punctual. I earned the achievement of being one of the fastest sackers, as customers would say. The most important take-away from United Supermarkets was what it takes to be an efficient worker, while treating customers with care.
Little Caesars Crew Member
Little Caesars Pizza - Lubbock, TX
February 2021 to May 2021
At Little Caesars, I was a cashier. Greeting customers with a smile, and a listening ear. It was here I learned patience, adaptability, and work ethic. For example, every customer is unique, you have to be able to weave accommodation to fit their needs, concisely and punctually. Leading to a returning and happy customer. Who doesn't want that? Concluding this, the skills learned here have stuck with me, and I plan on expanding on them in the future.
