I started working construction in 1992 as a mason tender/laborer, did that for 4 years before joining the Hawaii Carpenters Union as an apprentice in 1996, did my 8,000 hours and 4 years of schooling to finish my apprenticeship and become a journeyman carpenter, I’ve worked on many projects some a few years and some a few weeks, I’ve done form work from setting footings, concrete walls and concrete stairs, I’ve also done framing and siding on a few big tract homes for a few years, also have worked on housing projects as a finish carpenter hanging doors and cabinets, as well I have done a lot of commercial finishing jobs as a journeyman finish carpenter doing some jobs installing fixtures, cabinets, doors and baseboard on many new store rollouts such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom’s, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Sephora Macy’s, I’ve also worked as General Foreman running a few projects such as the finishing work for a timeshare at the Hilton Grand Islander at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and was a General Foreman on a few solar farms installing over a million panels, I understand budgets and appreciate an honest days work for an honest days pay, here is some of the work I’ve done in the past 20+ years
