In this position I managed the daily operations of the office. Communication with clients in person, via email and telephone conversations. Responsibilities included but were not limited to basic office management skills as well as being a liaison between management and Sub-contractors. I assisted the President with project administration and contract negotiations in addition to managing the purchasing and accounting departments.

Procurement/Expeditor

As an Expeditor it was my responsibility to prepare file folders for each purchase order, keep PO’s, Change Orders, Inspection Reports, Expediting Reports, Receiving Reports, Damage Reports and PODs. I was required to contact the vendor on a weekly basis to ensure that that the ship dates on the project were accurate. If any problems occurred between the fabricator and problems with the drawings, it is my responsibility to ensure that I do whatever is necessary to get the fabricators revised drawings so that production will not be interrupted. This involves strong communication skills between the vendors and engineers. If a onsite ship date changes, it is my responsibility to determine why and find out what I can do to minimize the slippage time.

Senior Project Administrator

As Project Administrator at CDI Engineering Solutions I assist the Project Director of the DuPont Cougar Project. This was a high profile project due to its monetary value and fast track pace. Working as liaison between the Project Director, Project Engineer and the other discipline leads, it is necessary to maintain close interaction with team members by organizing weekly project team meetings to keep up with various phases of the project. I was responsible for the organization and facilitating of teleconference and video conference meetings using the Web-Ex Program. All travel arrangements were booked on-line utilizing Cliqbook Travel Management. Document Management was maintained utilizing Microsoft Office and Documentum (A DuPont on-line Document Storage). Project Administrator (Contract Position)

MODEC is a company that specializes in the design, installation, and operation of Production Storage and Offloading Units (FPSOs) these are storage units which store oil, separate oil from natural gas, water and sludge, floating Storage and Offloading Unit (FSO) and Tension Link Platforms (TLP) vessels. Working within the area of Project Administration I was a communication liaison between the project manager, clients, subcontractors and vendors. I rendered specialized administrative support while working to assemble pre-qualification packages and bid packages. It was my responsibility to assist the Senior Projects Control Analyst in compiling data for pricing of Piping Materials, formatting and compiling Requisition for Quotation (RFQ) packages for the procurement department. My daily functions incorporated assisting various engineering disciplines with placing technical specifications in the company template, creating and maintaining project files, electronic distribution of Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. Training Coordinator – Data & Consulting Services

My responsibilities included handling course logistics pertaining to Data Consulting Services (DCS) Open Hole and Cased Hole Log Analyst Training Courses. My involvements in this area included but were not limited to course scheduling, registration, visa processing, geology field trips, financial assistance, recreational activities, accounting, travel and QHSE Special meetings and trade show events and global client visits. Schlumberger Continued - Administrative Assistant to the Global Clients Director I supported the Global Clients Director in organizing International Schlumberger client visas to the United States. I assisted with bid proposals, travel arrangements, visa processing, transportation and entertainment for these clients while touring Schlumberger facilities.
