Goal
Summary of qualifications
To work with an organization that strives for excellence has an outstanding reputation, provides a professional working environment with potential for professional and personal advancement, and allows for work/life/family balance.
I am a highly experienced, bilingual nurse practitioner with vast experience in telehealth, emergency medicine, primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, education, acute care, sports medicine, adult education, pediatrics, geriatric medicine, occupational health, clinical trials & research, primary care, palliative care, disease & pain management, staff development, home health care, Veterans Administration health care, online/remote higher education nurse educator for doctoral students, billing, and HCC coding monitoring.
I instructed nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and staff nurses on office procedures, policies, documentation, orthotics, billing and coding, phlebotomy, telemedicine, and office processes. During my many years in practice, in addition to my routine clinic responsibilities, I gained valuable experience by asking to work with a multidisciplinary group of visiting physicians including emergency medicine, urology, family practice, cardiology, internal medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, clinical research, palliative care, otolaryngology, and telemedicine. I enjoyed the learning from each and every provider that shared his/her knowledge with me; it made me a stronger provider.
