I supported people who have challenging behaviors. I was trained to use behavior management techniques and interventions. I also provided support with helping individuals shower, making them food, getting their medications, and doing their laundry. When residents had behavior, it was my job to de-escalate the situation and get them back under control. Get them to talk about what was bothering them and try to fix it if possible. I did have Crisis Prevention institute (CPI) training to de-escalate the behavior and to have behavior management.

FEBRUARY 2017 – AUGUST 2018

LINE LEAD, RR Donnelley

I was responsible for setting up lines with materials and tearing them down when the order was finished. I was responsible for managing 8 people who worked on my 2 lines. I restocked the lines with the product that was needed. I also entered the work orders into the computer each time.

I was responsible for doing quality checks of the products to make sure they were built correctly. Every time I checked the product, I entered it into the computer. A certain number of checks needed to be checked on every order.

I was responsible for being on a line with 3 other people putting medical kit together in the correct order. I also did shipping and packaging the medical boxes and putting them on pallets. There were cleaning up procedures at the end of every shift.
