My name is James & I’m a Creative Director who grown from a 3D Designer & Art Director looking
for a full-time design position with your group. I’m an open minded, friendly & talented desig director that works well leading others, especially those who love design. I can design in 3D modeling (mesh and engineering), print & digital. I began as a Print Designer & have journeyed on to 3D Modeling, Trade-show booth Design, Point-of-Purchase display/packaging Design, Corporate Collateral & Communication to leading teams of designers in these fields. I can take a 2D/3D project from concept to completion & delivery. In 2013 I transitioned from 2D design to 3D modeling of POP displays & trade-show booths; learning how to use Solid-works & Studio Max. Later understanding that the mesh software was best for speedy designs while SW was best for final product in manufacturing. In 2016 our company gained steam in the Display & Trade-show Design as 20% of our business of a 20m primarily print company. This growth in business required me to then hire, manage & train talent to help build this side of our business successfully. My main point of focus for the last 5 years has been to lead teams of creatives to deliver the creative concepts and collateral asked of our clients and our own brands; to build out 3D/2D executables for our clients needs, wether that is digital, print or 3D display concepts thru engineering and then to assist with the actual build of the point-of-purchase displays or point-of-sale collateral. I am now looking to be able to either work from home or on location as needed. I am a single parent of an 11yo daughter and over the last couple of years have been able to appreciate some quality time with her while working remotely. Some sunshine in a rough time.
