• As a structural welder for Kiewit, I would set up equipment and weld parts, using flux core, MIG, and Stick. I cut structural metal pieces to size, and get them into position, and make sure that their welds were well executed and met safety and industry standards. Jan 2021-Present

• As a first class welder I execute cuts, bent, and shaped metal while verifying measurements and angels, while carrying parts by hand or machinery depending on load. I also bolt and weld rebar and steel sheets for structural reinforcements while maintaining precision in seated, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. I analyze work for defects and structural soundness before inspection checks with inspectors finding 0% mistakes. I tack welded, clamped, and bolted parts to achieve desired specifications. I repair and correct weak areas and ground and slag and rust from weld before inspections.
