Experience Education

2003-2004

Benet Lumber Industries (Elk City, Idaho)

Operated lumber sorter that separates the lumber in different sizes in preparation to ship out to Plaining Mill for finish product. Also operated Re-Run table, which takes a peace of lumber that is first intended to be a certain size but ended up having a portion of it not having a complete amount of wood to be considered proportional for specification’s and I would label with a number code and drop back on to a chain table and re-enter to another employee to re-run and cut to new desired length, width, or thickness needed. Also operated a Bobcat Skid steer that my task was to check locations of points where logs would enter the mill to be cut or all the shaving from logs being cut would pile up and load these shaving and drop them in the chipper so that they could be chipped into small pieces to be sold for landscaping. Also, for over time I did a position that would jump every forty five minutes for different operating tools to allow employees a break for lunch, running from eight to ten different pieces of mill equipment tool through out the day. June 2004 – December 2004

Les Schwab Tires (Meridian, Idaho)

Tire buster was my job title, basically your task was if your bay was empty you would run, not walk, to the front counter and grab a ticket paired-up with a set of Key to a customer’s vehicle. On this ticket was what the customer needs to have done to their vehicle. Anywhere from a balance/rotation, flat tire, new tired, used tired, studded snow tired, sipped tires, new wheels, or simply just air added to tires. Operated a bead breaking tire wheel separating equipment machine, tire sipping equipment machine, tire balancing machine, to unloading trailers of tires and organizing new tires in both upstairs and down stairs tire racks,
