Inbound/Outbound Spervisor / Train Inspector

Quality Terminal-Haslet, TX

February 2000 to April 2004

promoted to forklift operator, setting the bogies on the track. I was then promoted to a hostler driver, where I pick up trailers and take them to their designated spot on the tracks where I back them up onto the bogie, where they would be put together and locked in with the trailer behind it. Then I was promoted to the inbound and outbound supervisor position. When the inbound arrives, we would remove the trailers from the bogies and parked them in their designated area. I was then promoted to outbound train inspector. My job then, was to make sure the inspection was complete for the train to leave the yard. We then lost our contract for the triple crow yard. We then got transferred to the Haslet intermodal facility. I started out on the switch crew there, as a pin puller. I would connect and disconnect railcars. After doing that for awhile, I got promoted to operating the locomotives around the yard. I would pull railcars on and off the pad. I then took the Forman job, where I made sure all the railcars were being put in the right order on the pad.
