EMORY MOTORSPORT (12-2016 to 7-2023) – North Hollywood CA Vehicle Technician – Responsible for vehicle teardown process and final customer delivery preparation. This included:

• Completely stripped vehicle down to bare chassis and removed of any rust or damaged metal/structure.

• Responsible for managing vehicle parts inventory for each disassembly.

• Vehicles then prepped for all necessary bodywork and transported to sandblaster in Lancaster.

• Cars then transported from sandblaster to paint shop near Palm Springs and returned for reassembly.

• Managed final inspection, prep and detailing for customer delivery.

BAD COMPANY/BIG AMERICAN DREAM CO (6-1997 to 12-2016) – Sun Valley, CA Held ever-increasing positions of responsibility in this family-owned automotive service company specializing in vehicle prep and transport services for commercial TV, print & digital productions, custom concept builds and classic vehicle restorations. Various roles and duties included: Shop Apprentice – Starting at age 16, I learned the business from the ground up working summers and after school learning all aspects of the family enterprise.

• Early tasks included keeping all areas of shop and office areas stocked with needed supplies, organized and clean and parts delivery/stocking duties, etc.

• Special projects and vehicle detailing assignments as requested. Journeyman – Learned all aspects of Body Shop and Paint Department operations through continuous growth and more complex projects.

• Began as journeyman assistant working in Body Shop learning to the correct methods to dissemble and prep cars for repairs and paint.

• As knowledge and skill levels increased, assigned to prep vehicles for paint and eventually do custom designs and paint samples/designs for customized projects and vintage builds. My creative skills were expanded and challenged in new ways during each project. Fabrication – As my love for motorcycles grew and the desire to help create custom bikes, I was able to learn to learn some welding and to shape metal for all types of projects.

• Attended a Master Class at Fay Butler School of Fabrication in Boston, MA to learn specialized techniques. Still in contact with Fay Butler.
