Worked as a welder’s helper for 2 years at Neon Electric Sign company starting in 1980.
Then 2 years as a welder, starting in 1983.
Then at the age of 21,.,at the same company I started working as an apprentice electrician..
I worked as an apprentice for 5 years,, learning how electrical components were to be used and installed in various install situations.. and installing sign cabinets and pylon poles and beam structures.
At age 26, in 1989, I took the electrical journeyman’s test and passed. I worked as a
Journeyman electrician staying at Neon Electric corp until 1994.
I serviced electrical for outside sign structures, as well as inside.
I serviced various types of lighting, from inside mall stores to 130ft tall McDonald pole signs., . I have been responsible for 20+ two man crews example—-
I spent two years traveling Texas, rebranding Gulf fuel stations, and installing Chevron sign and lighting packages from Houston Texas up into the furthest parts of west Texas, and every point in-between ., including the breaker panels, time clocks, photo cells, and contractors.
I have 25 years experience in commercial plant electrical install and service.
I have 15 years plus, in residential electrical..
I’m looking for a job to slowly ease me into retirement.. I will never totally retire..,
But I want to slow down some…
I have my masters electrical license now, and have had it for over 20 years.
