Accountable for the following cost control activities:
Attend all subcontractor meetings to review costs associated with their scope
Identification and preparation of sub-contractors changes orders
Preparation of all external change orders to client, adjusting budget value if approved
Track costs associated with the entire project using Prolog computerized system
Preparation of monthly financial reports to management as well as risk analysis narrative
Interact with disciplines and contractors to provide an accurate forecast, adjusting accordingly
COST ENGINEER (DSM Nutritional Products – Belvidere N.J.)
Responsible for the following cost control activities:
Preparation of project cost reports and management financial reports
Track internal and external labor hours
Work with company accountant on approval process of vendor and contractor invoices
Assist project manager with sub-contractor issues

Responsible for the following cost control activities:
Estimate home office labor and reimbursable costs
Estimate anticipated gross margin by month based on hours forecasted
Preparation of project cost reports and management financial reports
Identification (proactive approach) and preparation of change orders and risk analysis reporting
This position required the overall control of all cost activities within the project for both home office activities and field related matters. Projected final costs of the project via forecast changes and risk analysis reporting would keep management notified for corrective action if necessary.

At completion of estimate, assignment of costs allocated into standard code of accounts for tracking purposes. Maintained a commitment / expenditure register to track the final outcome of the project. Compiled data for invoicing based on milestone requirements and processed labor reports for company billings.
