PROFILE
A passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with five years of software experience, honed through rigorous training at Texas State University. Proficient in AutoCAD, Simio, and Excel, I excel in team-oriented projects, seamlessly integrating design and data analysis to ensure efficient project execution and innovative solutions. My expertise aligns with the values and goals of any forward-thinking company, and I am eager to contribute to the advancement of society through engineering excellence.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Senior Design Project: During my final semester at Texas State University, I led a team in a senior design course to create an innovative Starbucks drink holder and carrier. We designed and prototyped an insulated, lazy Susan-style drink carrier that maintained beverages at the desired temperature while securing them from other customers. Through meticulous planning, regular meetings, and dedicated effort, we successfully completed and presented the prototype on time.
GPS Mapping: At Texas Materials, I was responsible for developing detailed maps of job sites using GPS software. These maps were then converted into CAD files, providing the Billing Department with accurate site layouts. This ensured a sense of security and accuracy in billing, protecting the company against potential pricing disputes from customers.

Responsibilities include helping the lead on duty close batches, request parts, print batches, disclose required information between different departments and helping with efficiency
Used Kaizen and six sigma methods to ensure quality and efficient work (ex. other handlers would ask where certain parts would go, so a CG [consolidation group] list would be printed for them and batches would be set up in order and in view to decrease the amount of time necessary for batches to be completed.
When Rack picks were keeping up with work flow, the Kaizen implementation helped the 2A and 2B shifts to close out anywhere from 8-10 batches a night, each batch being under the max 4 hour time frame (sometimes under 3 hours).
Closing out batches that could be anywhere from 800-4000 parts.
