● Responsible for assisting land managers and a team of wildlife biological scientists with the everyday operation and maintenance of a 65,000 acre State owned WMA.
● Responsible for answering telephone and on-line inquiries from the public regarding State rules and regulations within the wildlife management area.
● Responsible for coordinating and purchasing bulk fuel and tracking usage of all gas and diesel for the WMA vehicles. 2-1500 gallon fuel tanks.
● Responsible for facilitating the monthly fuel usage reports for fleet vehicles, swamp buggies, ATV’s and all other field equipment to the Regional Biologists and the FWC State property Department in Tallahassee.
● Facilitates the State credit card purchases by the staff, and coordinating the account activity/invoices with FWC State Accounting Department in Tallahassee.
● Responsible for the wildlife management area fee collection device (“iron ranger”), counts and records all daily monies received. Responsible for weekly bank deposit and record of funds submitted to FWC State Accounting Department in Tallahassee.
● Coordinates with vendors on the bidding process for contracts on projects within the wildlife management area.
