Consolidated environment; patched and implemented C2 Security for PCI auditing. Implemented PCI required security and auditing; wrote audit and security policy; presented audited systems to assessor for Brighterion's first official and successful audit. Substantial SVN usage. Zhone Technologies, Oakland, California August - October 2012 System Administration Migrated multiple Solaris 8 and Solaris 10 physical hosts to virtual hosts on Solaris 10 servers. Created Flash Archives for Branded Solaris 8 Zones. Migrated and consolidated 2 remote and 1 local Samba domains from physical hosts to virtual hosts serving all the corporate, engineering and manufacturing end users. Wells Fargo, San Francisco, California January, 2011 - June, 2012 System Administration and Systems Engineering Contract System engineering position in Internet Services Division: specialized in new product proof-of-concept (LDOMS - new to Wells), deployment tools (N1), VMware and Oracle RAC implementations: 50% Solaris, 50% RHEL; implemented Sun T-series metaslot/cryptoframework certificate offloading, and prep for migration from 1024 to 2048 bit certificates. ● Researched live upgrade patching errors and made recommendation to update jumpstart configuration by consolidating filesystems. Diagnosed ifs file system errors and provided steps to resolve a recurring internal bug in conjunction with Oracle Technical Support.
