OBJECTIVE
I love a good puzzle to figure out. This sentence best explains my career path to this point. My first love was human anatomy and figuring out how the body functions. I received a B.S. in Athletic Training and was recruited to teach advanced anatomy. But I wanted to learn more, and this established my desire to pursue research. When applying for graduate school, a professor reached out and asked me what I knew about concussions. I told him that I did not know much but wanted to learn. Apparently, I was the only applicant to say this, and he hired me on the spot. During my M.S., I was tasked with running the Biomechanics Lab. I fell in love with the research process and knew that I wanted to pursue a PhD. During my PhD I took over 10 statistics courses and was involved in many interdisciplinary research opportunities. I have over 40 publications and a wide range of professional experiences in different aspects of the research process. My favorite is data analysis. I love cleaning data, asking questions, and converting it into useful information for making informed decisions. EDUCATION
