Director of Family Ministry (part-time staff member at Our Lady of Refuge Parish in
Orchard Lake, MI from 1980 – 2002. Organization and coordination of family-
oriented events, counseling, marriage preparation. In addition, served as
Coordinator of RCIA Process (Rite for Christian Initiation of Adults) from
1986 – 2001
Chairman of Counseling Department at U of D Jesuit High School from 1981 – 1995

Teacher/Counselor from 1958-1978. During this time I was a Religious Brother in the
Society of Mary (Marianists), and employed in the school system operated by this
Congregation. Thus I served at Chaminade College Prep (St. Louis, Missouri),
Maryhurst Prep (St. Louis, Missouri), St. Michael’s High School (Chicago,
Illinois), and Cathedral High School (Belleville, Illinois). Teacher of History,
Government, Latin, Theology; Prefect of resident students for 11 years, Leadership
Training, Coach (football & basketball) and Moderator (newspaper, social action
groups, choral).
