Have a total of more than 50 years of experience including 25 years 6 months in National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and 8 Years 7months in the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) Bangalore. Retired as General Manager (Technical), NABARD; Chennai on 30-04-08.Worked as Consultant for Watersheds, RIDF, NABCONS, NABARD, Karnataka Regional Office Bangalore. Worked with MYRADA, Head Office Bangalore as Programme Officer. Guided and supervised the execution of Watersheds & Agriculture, Climate Change, and Organic Farming Projects. Oversaw the functioning of ICAR Krishi Vignan Kendra (KVK) Erode; Tamilnadu from 15-05-2008 to 30-04-09. The tasks headed as G M NABARD were Indo-German Watershed Development Department, Watershed Development Fund, Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), NABARD Consultancy Services, Agri-Development Finance (Tamil Nadu) Ltd., &, Investment Credit Department, Institutional Development Department etc. More than 200 NGOs involved in Indo German and WDF assisted projects were funded by NABARD. Being the head of the division, guided, supervised, monitored in execution. Worked as Agriculture Specialist in Jala Samvardhana Yojana Sangha (Minor Irrigation, Department Government of Karnataka) a world bank assisted Project for Tank rehabilitation from 27.08.2010 to 28.02.2013. Works involved were guiding farmers/tank users in forming Tank users Associations, federations to help them in aggregating, scientific harvesting employing improved machineries, value addition, marketing their produce. Worked as a Faculty of PCRA GOI,, DEASI programmes, and as external assessor of Karnataka Evaluation Authority, (KEA) Government of Karnataka and resource person for District Agriculture Training Centres, Govt.of Karnataka.

DETAILS OF TASK / PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN:
Monitored and evaluated On Farm Development (OFD) Works of CADAs in command areas of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Formulated, appraised, monitored, evaluated participatory watershed projects, and KfW SOILS projects with the financial assistance from KfW, GTZ, Germany in Maharashtra and Karnataka.
State and District Credit Plans: Analysis and working out strategies to enhance credit flow to Agriculture & allied sectors and Rural Development at district level and aggregating at state level.
Formulated innovative projects in Agriculture with reference to Natural Resource Management Systems like eco-friendly projects-Biotechnology.
Executed a scheme on Bioconversion of organic waste from city garbage into bio-fertilizer and its mechanical separation was an important scheme handled.
