Job Description: Designs, analyzes, plans, and modifies network components and architecture in support of the wireless, wireline, and broadband infrastructure. Provides mid to long term planning for a specific technology which includes analysis, solution recommendations, and implementation strategies to complex business issues. These activities are the basis for capital deployment and allocation decisions.
Project Manager – created and tracked assigned hardware deployment projects along with core circuit connections for AT&T’s D1 network and AT&T’s new P2 network. This new network architecture will support the AT&T CORE connections, VHO, and broadband products as the old network is migrated and turned down. Central office Space and Power checks, along with costs, were utilized for the creation of Engineering hand off binders. Each project timeline for the over 250 projects was managed for hardware component deployment and circuit completion.
WAN Transport Planner– FORD Allen Park, MI ((TEKsystems contractor Southfield, MI) Jul 2019 – Jun 2023
Project Manager - tracked all projects deploying Wide Area Network (WAN) circuit connections within Ford’s global SD-WAN network environment. Sites are checked and processed annually for WAN circuit utilization and vendor costs.
Assisted in processing multiple remote site WAN circuit upgrades by performing the following tasks: Request For Pricing (RFP) from multiple approved carriers, Financial budgeting requests, Carrier fiber build tracking, D-Marc x-connects, Change window Change requests, tracking and monitoring tools updates, and Disconnect Work Orders for old circuits.
