Objective:
I am highly skilled and well rounded with 20 plus years of experience. My strengths include practical and technical skills, strong work ethics and a deep passion for craftsmanship as well as 15 years as an onsite manager, coordinating with contractors, sub-contractors, construction managers and engineers. Expanding my personal skill set has always been my goal, while in pursuit of that goal, I have moved through trades, starting with timber framing, then moving on to metal fabrication (from structural through functional art), as well as electrical (everything from low voltage wiring, to high voltage 480). Always embracing the responsibility to find the best solution, emphasizing the financial implications in each situation. On a personal level, I’ve coached many young hockey players, while challenging them all to reach for their individual highest potential. I have carried that same mindset into my work field and alway try to bring the best out of my co-workers. Always looking for the key to motivating each and every one of them. I am very comfortable commanding attention when needed, or calmly keeping the team on point and moving forward. I enjoy a fast-paced environment with a wide variety of tasks and challenges on projects that need to be solved and completed within project deadlines, without sacrificing safety, while still remaining cost effective, with each project showing the pride with which it was undertaken.
Currently I am seeking a challenging more professional career that will better utilize my potential, knowledge, and skill set. I look forward to the opportunity such to become a valuable asset to your company.
