Duties/Responsibilities
Installation, modification, and repair of new or existing water, air, steam, gas, and other pipelines and systems.
Perform essential duties to satisfactory
Work within safety guidelines to eliminate accidents
Recognize hazards to prevent injuries
Follow safety procedures and processes
Document any safety risks or concerns
Ensure compliance with all PPE requirements at all times
Maintenance and overhaul of piping systems.
Test Mechanic and Overhaul
In process inspections to ensure that quality control and cleanliness were both maintained.
Aircraft carrier experience with high pressure air, steam catapult systems, chill water, shaft alleys, engine room, fire main, drain systems, fuel systems, and steering gear rooms.
Completed work within guidelines of Navsea instructions
Skilled in precision measurements, reading blueprints, interpreting drawings, bill of materials, and flow diagrams.
Tack weld and fire watch qualified
Radiation qualified in accordance with Navsea limits as a “J-Worker.”
