Removed excess slag with arc-cutting, grinding and using other equipment. Used MIG and TIG welding on structural supports.

Clamped and tack-welded components to achieve desired configurations. Prepared welding equipment to perform advanced welding work. Minimized warping using good fitting, burning and welding techniques. Chipped away debris and thick crusts of rust, slag and other materials to ready surfaces for welding.

Tested welding and safety equipment to check performance. Kept work area clean and organized.

Worked correctly with each material such as steel, aluminam and stainless steel. Calibrated flow and pressure settings to build and maintain flames. Cut metal components to required lengths using various tools, including using metal shears, hacksaws and bar cutters.
