SUMMARY

I am currently a security guard and have been for one year. I have worked for Allied Universal security since August of 2023. I have gained skills and attributes in the area of my career. I have learned great customer service. I’ve also learned how to monitor, record and report any suspicious activities and know when it’s time to alert the authorities. I have also learned how to gather and obtain information that is needed to report to authorities, in a hostile environment. I’ve gained knowledge about the use of force policy and am always aware of my surroundings. I am in the process of obtaining my firearm license to carry. I have my associate’s in criminal justice and will have my bachelors degree in the spring of 2025. I hope to be able to always progress and move up in any company that would accept me as a member of their team. Prior to this career change last year, I had been a certified nurse’s assistant for 18 years. I absolutely loved caring for people. I would enjoy going above and beyond for those in need. I took a lot pride in my work as a CNA and absolutely enjoyed my past career for 18 years but after the opportunity to go to college I decided to change my career in a different field to also still be able to help people.
