Hired to assume responsibility for a book of business from a retiring financial advisor. Partnered with local Wells Fargo bank branches to serve customers in Minot, ND, and the surrounding area.
Managed and grew a customer base consisting of 500 accounts and assets of $80 million. Prospecting for new business and gathering new assets were priorities. Developing relationships with community leaders was a key to success.
Used proprietary tools to develop personalized financial plans for key accounts. These tools were used to adjust to the ever-changing marketplace and the changing priorities/goals of the customer base.
Responsible for managing relationships with both retail and institutional customers.

Regional Annuity Specialist
Hybrid wholesaling position covering the Pacific Northwest territory. Responsible for management of the territory from both an external and internal perspective. Both prospecting for new producers and maintaining relationships with existing producers were considered high priorities.
Graduate of 2009 RVP Readiness Program. Member of a select group of participants chosen to enhance sales skills as part of a company initiative to develop external wholesaler candidates organically.
Participated in the 2009 Wholesaler Development Program, designed to prepare participants for placement in the field as external wholesalers, and graduated from the program in April 2009.

Tasked by management to assume responsibility for Nevada/California/Hawaii territory in January 2008. Only wholesalers were asked to manage two territories. Nevada/California/Hawaii territory is #1 in sales to goal, trending at 170% of stated goal through July 2008.
Sales in the Pacific Northwest territory grew by over 350% from 2006 to 2007.
Total number of new producers in the Pacific Northwest territory also grew by a factor of four from 2006 to 2007.
