Responsible for and proficient in all aspects of the maintenance and operation of various First Processing poultry production areas including, but not limited to, Evisceration, Picking Room, Back Dock, Live Hang and Offal.

Maintains and troubleshoots a variety of poultry plant specific equipment such as Stunners, Rehangers, Croppers, Bird Washers, Pan conveyors, Venters, Openers and Eviscerators.

Responsible for conducting rebuilds on all evisceration equipment.

Maintains conveyors, knuckle chains, high and low pressure pumps, electrical and mechanical systems.

Proficient in operating and repair of Meyn automated eviscerating equipment.

Ensures any and all repair tasks are performed safely and in accordance with established Lockout / Tag out procedures.

Maintains and trains subordinate personnel on the repair, calibration and operation of the Wolf computerized drip line systems.

Responsible for the maintenance and operation of various poultry processing equipment including, but not limited to, CVP Bag sealers, PAC-MAC CO2 bagging systems, Mepsco Marination machines, Dapec cut-up machinery, conveyor belts and knuckle chains.

Responsible for training newly hired maintenance personnel in the proper performance of their assigned tasks.

Ensures all metal detection systems are tested for proper operation and test results are documented.

Maintains SIGMA computerized final scale systems and associated printers.

Ensures vacuum pumps are on and operational for Fast Food fat suckers and Debone backs.
