Resume:

William “Bryce” Cottrill

**********@*****.***

**0563770”

Personal Note: First and foremost, I wanted to thank you for reviewing my application and overlooking this resume. My childhood wasn’t full of sunshine but I think that’s why I always wanted to help people who were in bad situations. I went to college to become the man my future kids would look up to, and really started making an effort to set myself up for where I want to be in the future. I worked with a lot of rock crawlers with my uncle growing up so I have some knowledge of how to get around. My uncle later went on to become a firefighter, and naturally I followed. However, I would much prefer to make my career out of both things I enjoy doing. While pursuing that, I would like to continue learning to work on cars and fixing them, so I can have both passions in my life.

Work Experience:

-Manager at Creative Concepts(door to door sales) from April 2016- November 2017

-Haunted Field of Screams chainsaw man (seasonal) October 2016,2017

-(MILITARY SCHOOL)

-American Guard Services (security)June 2019- April 2020

-M & B Construction laborer April 2020-August 2020

-Apprentice Personel laborer April 2020- August 2020

-Lewis township Fire & Rescue Jan 2021-December 2021

Certifications:

- WF2

- FF1(state test needed only)

-hazmat ops(state test needed only)

-100+ hours live fire work

Extra Statements: In November of 2017, I moved to a military school until I finished out until my senior year in 2019 and went all state in rugby as well as all conference in football both years. After graduation I took time off and worked construction until applying to where I went and studied fire science at Iowa Western. From there I got hired with a combination department where I ran just shy of 600 calls in the past year. Wrapping up my college life after returning home to Colorado, I plan to begin my fire career on the western side of things, and start to earn certifications in the automotive field.
