Dad Challenge Day
It’s never too late to be the dad your kids deserve.
Kiss your children
while they are asleep.
Tell them
one specific
way they
have made
you proud
recently.
Write down
one quality of
a great dad.
Be that today.
Ask your
child’s
opinion about
something.
Make your
child laugh
today.
Compliment
your child
today.
Think of
yourself when
you were
your child’s age.
Remember
how you felt.
Write down
3 favorite
things about
being a dad.
Keep the list
where you can
see it all day.
Surprise
your child
with
something
today.
Calculate how
many weekends
you have with
your children
before they
graduate from
high school.
Pray for
wisdom.
Be firm when
needed, but
not harsh.
Ask your child,
“What is one thing
we can do together
this month?”
Focus on being
patient today.
Write down one
way you want
your children to
remember you.
Focus on being
that today.
Say to yourself,
“They are only
years old.
They are still a child.”
Then treat them
that way.
Do one good thing
for your health:
walk 10 minutes;
play basketball;
get a good night’s
sleep.
Encourage
your child
today.
Teach
your child
a new word.
Buy your kids
their favorite
treat.
Go the whole
day without
yelling.
Identify a man
you admire.
Emulate a
quality of his
today.
Forgive yourself
and others.
Do not interrupt
your child when
he/she is talking.
Teach your
son/daughter
one thing
they can do
on their own.
Turn off
your phone,
computer,
or TV when
your child is
with you.
Picture your
child at 25.
Father with
that in mind
every day.
Tell your child,
“I am so glad
you are my
son/daughter.”
Hug your
children three
times today.
Focus on being
loving today.
