• Supervised and managed 11 faculty as the head of the department for Chemistry and Bio-chemistry

• Managed undergraduate research projects for over 8 research students, helped steer the students with the research, presentation of the reports, research writing and completion.

• Prepared detailed lesson plans, including lecture notes, handouts, homework assignments, and exam questions

• Collaborated with other faculty to develop new curriculum for introductory Chemistry and Biochemistry courses that included a focus on critical thinking skills and active learning strategies.

• Taught laboratory sections using inquiry-based teaching methods designed to promote student engagement through hands-on activities related to current scientific research topics in the field of biochemistry, facilitated laboratory experiments for students including the demonstration of proper instrument techniques resulting in greater understanding of material by the students and attainment of accurate results

• Designed and utilized class demonstrations for various biochemical processes. Organized and maintained course page with supplemental links, review questions, homework questions, and animations.

• Instructed advanced pharmacy students in bioscience lab including enzymology, microbiology, and molecular biology.
