• Job Definition:

• Responsible for comprehensive environmental and physical laboratory analyses in support of Divisions operations

• Conduct assembly set ups, calibrate and operate various laboratory equipment and instruments; troubleshooting issues to identify discrepancies; collect various samples for analysis according to predetermined schedule; prepare standard chemical solutions; keep the laboratory facility clean and in an orderly condition; enter lab data into a computer system for further analysis and reporting purposes; comply with safety and environmental and accreditation requirements (ISO9001, AS9100, ISO4001)

• Provided comprehensive chemical, environmental, physical and mechanical property analyses in support of daily plant operations. Work from drawings, sketches and written or verbal information.

• Constructs test setups, functional tests and record and interpret data; reduce data, plot curves and charts. Connect and install related instrumentation for various operations.

• Setup and use elevated/sub-ambient temperature and pressure measuring devices for testing. Use hand tools, tube bending and flaring equipment, power driving tools(including lathes, drill presses, end mills, band saws and tensile cut for ASTM Standard samples.

• Sampling and transporting samples to laboratory. Conduct analytical, physical and mechanical property testing of materials used for production.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as balances, micrometers/calipers, viscometers, hardness testers, microscopes, particle counters,titration units, moisture content meters, ohm meters, Ph meters, dewpoint meters, hydrocarbon sampling, Torque wrenches, strain gauging, heat treating, potting/mounting/polishing, program ovens, hydraulic presses, sanders/grinders, horizontal/vertical band saws, Instron machines, camera/video equipment, Oxy/Acetylene torch tester, chemical etching, vacuum pumps, rheology-viscometer. Monitored various certified processes and cleanrooms used for production.
