As a Front End Developer I have been exposed to a multitude of platforms, content management systems, and programming languages in the ever-changing landscape of web development, all while working in team development roles for fast-paced agencies since 2007.

Being curious, learning new technologies and methodologies and applying them to everyday work, while utilizing best practices and accessibility standards are important aspects of web development I subscribe to. My experience combined with an eye for design, UX, and animation, allows me to help out in creative areas where possible to give projects that little extra shine.

It is important to use creative solutions to balance client satisfaction with budget constraints. My 17 years of professional experience has benefited me with nuance and understanding to give accurate estimates, as well as recognizing potential gotchas/technical debt within projects before they arise.

As the Sr. Front End Developer at Core Creative, my daily duties included:

●Maintaining, updating existing client sites using HTML, CSS, Javascript.

●Content management and template creation within Wordpress, Wagtail, and Drupal.

●Code html for emails, using constant contact, Hubspot, and from scratch, as well as testing with litmus, email on acid

●Create custom 2D animations with GSAP (Greensock Animation Platform), triggered by scrolling and other interactions

●Create animated HTML banners using Google Web Designer and from scratch using GSAP.

●Overseeing projects through from start to finish - Brainstorm, architect, and engineering new sites while closely collaborating with project managers, UX & design team, as well as testing, QA and deployment.

●Engineer mobile solutions for websites.

●Created modified ITCSS structure for web team to use on all projects to keep CSS organized with folder structure

●Create custom responsive solutions for mobile - Often due to time constraints there are limited or no designs for mobile, which gave me the freedom to use my experience and expertise with responsive design to implement pragmatic solutions.
