PRODUCTION PLANNER

Approve and release work orders to the shop floor using SAP for components.

Work orders include components required for equipment production, and after sales support. Monitor and maintain work order due dates to ensure validity and expedite as required to meet schedules and customer expectations. Ensure routing, run times, materials are correct for each work order. Update if necessary.

Develop and monitor production schedules based on inventory plan, customer delivery requirements, forecasts and plant capacity.

Work closely with the Demand Planner to insure production plan requirements are effectively and efficiently achieved.

Maintenance of SAP item master file for MML fabricated parts such as; lot sizing, stocking levels, lead times.

Update shortage sheet and forecast reports daily.

Work with other manufacturing support departments including procurement/ sub contracting, production support, engineering and operations to resolve issues.
