• Task force - I was one of four individuals selected for the team to counter violence on the Westside of St. Augustine due to recent spikes in disturbances, drug presence, gang activity as well as shootings. While on the task force, we were able to stop the violence and drove many gang members out of the area / created criminal cases against them. The task force team lasted for 3 months and since then, the Sheriff's Office has seen less violent crimes in the area.
• Assisted the United Stated Secret Service in conducting interviews with Romanian nationalists in reference to an ATM skimming case. Listened to hours of recorded tapes prior to all subjects being in custody and retrieved vital information which led to the arrest of two subjects. Conducted interviews in Romanian which than had to be translated over into English. During the interviews, I managed to get both subjects to confess as to what part they had in the skimming and was also able to retrieve additional names involved in the case.
• Selected as one of four officers to test the functionality of the Axon body cameras (Palatka Police Department). Provided feedback to administration about the functionality of the body cameras. Provided training to colleagues within the Palatka Police Department in reference to the operation of the body cameras including hardware and software set up.
