EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage MEP Systems for all Disciplines
Review Contractual elements, project specifications and verify them to meet client requirements.
Review all the Design Drawings in accordance to International Codes and the Client Standards.
Estimate and schedule for preparation of required drawings for the project in coordination with all disciplines.
Ensure the Engineering calculations and support the technical Engineers in preparation of Shop Drawings and Detailed schematics.
Supporting the Technical Engineers in preparation of Coordination Drawings according to the International Standards, Site Conditions and Architectural RCP’s & Elevations.
Issuing the IFC drawings for construction team.
Support the execution team in solving the technical issues occurring during the execution.
Support the draftsmen in preparation of Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings.
Raising the Request for Information for missing details in the drawings to the client.
Raising the Field Change Requests and Technical Queries.
Ensure rising of Variation Orders or Change Orders based on the quantities and client requirements.
Perform thorough study for Mechanical material in accordance with project specification, material approval and supporting the Quantity Surveyors ensuring the material take-off based on the approved shop drawings for preparing the purchase orders.
Ensure material take-off, purchase orders and material delivery to comply plans and schedules.
Assist the planning department for estimation as per the project budget for material and manpower.
Prepare manpower mobilization schedule according to the material availability and work front.
Planning work front according to available resources and priority schedules.
Ensure availability of manpower, temporary site facilities, tools and equipment’s at different projects.
Monitoring the installations of Mechanical Works.
Monitoring the installations of Mechanical Equipment’s such as Fire Fighting, Water Supply and Chilled Water Pumps, HVAC Units.
Monitoring the projects progress and prepare recovery schedules if necessary.
Decision making & coordination for MEP works.
Coordinate with Quality Control Department and Consultant for approval of works.
Attend weekly meetings with management, main contractor and consultant for technical issues and progress meetings.
To make good relation with customers and provide them quality work on schedules. As Mechanical Site Engineer & Field Engineer
Review and Study of all the approved Drawings and Project Specifications.
Raise RFI’s and TQ’s in case of any Technical issues during construction.
Attending the daily meeting with the Contractors to update the daily progress and plan for the work front.
Completing the final post punch list of the system and reinstatement.
Handover the system to the Contractor after the reinstatement of piping with all Mechanical Equipment’s and Instruments.
Review of all the test packages and approving them for final testing with the client.
Raise RFI (Request for Information) if in case of any mismatch in the approved drawings.
To look after the FCR (Field Change Request) issued from site to amend the drawings and coordination in preparing the As-Built Drawings.
