Work Description:

• Responsible for execution of scheduled preventive maintenance activities on field instrumentation such as;

Pressure control valves, level control valves, flow control valves, Pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, Level transmitters, point gas detectors, open path gas detectors, flame detectors, heat detectors, etc.

• Responsible for execution of scheduled preventive maintenance activities on deluge valve fire suppression system.

• Responsible for troubleshooting of faults and carrying out of necessary corrections on faulty flame detectors

• Responsible for troubleshooting of faults and carrying out of necessary corrections on faulty Point gas detectors

• Responsible for troubleshooting of faults and carrying out of necessary corrections on faulty Open path detectors

• Responsible for troubleshooting for cause of faults on on/off valves and carrying out of required corrections to clear faults on DCS screen.

• Carried out commissioning activities as it relates to instrumentation of a wash tank (tank 3) project: on/off valves, Coriolis flow meter, pressure transmitter, differential pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, guided wave radar level transmitter, point gas detectors and open path gas detectors.

• Carried out commissioning activities on three CAT driven HP water injection pumps instrumentation which involved loop checking and correction of wiring errors, loop simulation, instrument function checking, OTP of the instruments, machine startup and handover to the site operations.
