Surgical technician with the expansion of SCA surgical specialties. Prepares operating rooms ensuring cleanliness and safety according to guidelines, assist surgeons and other operating team members by giving direct assistance anticipating surgical instruments, supplies. Patient preparation, positioning, prepping surgical sites, draping. Ensures patient are comfortable and properly positioned for the procedure. Monitoring and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies including but not limited to ordering supplies within my secondary role assisting the purchasing manager. Purchasing desk role includes, creating Po’s, imputing daily IOL’s for replenishment, ordering of surgical supplies, working closely with reps and vendors regarding new equipment, servicing supplies as well as ensuring delivery of supplies are tracked restocked. Collaborating effectively with Nurses, management, anesthesiologists, preop and recovery. Prior to my medical career, I had an extensive career in banking, administrative roles, escrow and title insurance with an exceptional customer service background. After the 2006 recession I made the jump to a field always in demand and again proved true during Covid where I worked front lines.

I’m member of my church, I love to spend my free time with my daughter, and we enjoy surfing and paddleboarding, I’m also currently pursuing my assignments bachelor’s degree in health sciences and expected to graduate December 2026.
