Managing team of Planners and Commodity Managers in shipments, both domestic and international. All training throughout shop whether through Beville College or training I developed based on Staff needs, Worked closely with Chamber of Commerce of Tuscaloosa and West Alabama on grant funding for training needs. Developed and designed training for new hire orientation; both salary and hourly. Responsible for all safety training, ISO 9001 and 45001 Auditor. Designed DFT (Demand Flow Technology) Training, Responsible for all certification training and recertifications, onsite audits, Maintenance RCRA and DOT Trainings, Detailed training for FMLA, STD, LTD, and benefits for associates. Worked with Staff and Management Team on yearly business planning and performance reviews for current and upcoming year plan.
Continuous Improvement Engineer/Senior Manager
Responsible for quoting cylinders both made in-house and purchased. CI Projects to improve cost-savings, Reduced set-up times, SPED Projects, SMED, Teaching hourly operators and engineering team in Lean concepts through Kaizen Events. NPIs, Robotic welders, reducing waste and getting parts closer to the POU to reduce operator steps and improve production. Some work cells were improved to double the output of units per shift. Worked on Engineering Managers staff to promote and lead Kaizens to report out to corporate monthly.
