Managed community engagement and impact initiatives for a technology/media company. Developed long-term strategic plans for implementing impact programming and activities for multiple offices and regions; identified, cultivated and managed all local programming and partnerships.
● Developed and managed a credit bearing, paid internship program for high school seniors from underrepresented backgrounds with an interest in STEM fields. Recruited both student participants and software development engineers to serve as mentors. Grew the program from 1 to 12 interns within three years. Conceptualized, created, and delivered training programs to meet the dynamic needs of participants and mentors.
● Created and launched a companywide apprenticeship program to hire software development bootcamp graduates from underrepresented backgrounds into software development engineer roles
