• Responsible for the set-up and testing of automotive engines and transmissions according to Customer specifications. Duties include instrumentation of test units using accelerometers, thermocouples, torque transducers, and data acquisition recorders, as well as instrumentation maintenance and repair.
• Work closely with Customer’s design engineers on test requirements, progress of testing, and data reviews upon test completion.
• Able to handle a variety of test situations such as GM’s propeller shaft universal joint testing for marine applications.

• Regularly use the GSE Computer system to access bill of material, blueprints, torque transducers and inventory requirements.
• Extensively utilized math Cad to determine linearity characteristics of load cells and force transducers
• Familiar with personal computer applications such as Excel, Word, and E-mail. Very familiar with blueprints, schematics, bill of material and work orders. Hydraulic presses and free weights used to ensure compliance to product linearity and other specs.
