I am a hardworking, obedient young man with good communication skills who works effectively even with minimal supervision. I have the ability to meet deadlines, passionate and self will to serve all people irrigardless of gender, race and tribe. My aspirations as a young man is to see that I make every positive difference wherever I go. I am graduate of the Kenya Water Institute where I did a diploma program in Water Engineering. I got engaged with different companies in solving problems related to water, operational safety, reporting, operational of water related machines ie.Reverse Osmosis (RO) and the application of the Standard Operational Procedures when with those companies.

JULY 2023 UPTO DATE-TECHNICAL MANAGER AT HINDI MAGOGONI WATER USERS ASSOCIATION (HIMWA)
This is a Community Based Organisation in Lamu County,Lamu west subcounty with the mandate to supply water to residents of Hindi Magogoni and its environs with portable water. Was employed here as the technical manager heading the operations and maintence team.This was agroup of seven tecnicians.Here my duty included:
Preparation of short and long-term development plan for the association concerning technical matters.
Conducting monthly work planning and progress review meetings with the technical department staff.
Prepare an annual work-plan for the associations operations and maintence.
Prepare monthly reports on the water sales and revenues collected,the quantity of water pumped and consumed.
Preparation of weekly /monthly operations and maintenance checklist, procurement plan for workshop materials and tools
Provide advice on the technical matters to the HIMWA committees and the staff
Ensuring the production and supply of quality and safe water to consumers in an effective and efficient manner and in compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Managing associations assets through effective maintenance of the water supply system, repairs, installations, replacement and keep records of the same
Participate in setting performance targets for the technical staff
Oversee the planning and coordination of quality and maintenance
Prepares and submits monthly,quaterly and annual reports for the department

JUNE 2021- 30TH OCTOBER 2022 –WATER TECHNICIAN ATMWANGANI COMMUNITY WATER AND SANITATION USERS ASSOCIATION
After the end of the Joint Six Program with the Water Fund, the Association gave me temporal employment. During this time I retained the Terms and Conditions as they were with the Water Fund which included;
During this time I was able to make a number of achievements;
Preparation of the Standard Operational Procedure Manual for the utility adoption.
The number of connections increased from 22-178
Minimized the rate of bursts and leakages through pressure regulation
Increase in water revenue collection
Improved the billing system
Revived the long lost relationship between the community and the association through community mobilization and capacity building
Reduction of Non-Revenue Water.
JULY 20219-JUNE 2021- WATER SECTOR TRUST FUND
I was given a contract based employment as a Water Technician by the Water Sector Trust Fund in the implementation of the Joint Six Programme in KWALE County. During my engagement, as a water technician, I had the following duties:
Operations
i.Support in smooth operation of the utility infrastructure
ii.Support the utility in addressing operational bottlenecks through in house training and knowledge transfer.
Maintenance
i.Support the utility in carrying out maintenance on the infrastructure
ii.Provide support in scheduling maintenance of the infrastructure
iii.Ensure that the materials procured for the maintenance are of the right specification and quantity are of good quality as per the infrastructure
iv.Develop and submit maintenance reports assessments and survey reports.
Installation of meters and meter reading
i.Support the water utility in installation of meters for its customers within the service area
ii.Support in reading of meters to ensure accuracy in billing of customers.
Mapping of the infrastructure and consumers
i.Support the utility in mapping of its infrastructure
ii.Support the utility in continuous mapping of the consumers
Record keeping
i.Support the utility in establishing a consistent and verifiable records management system for internal and external use
ii.Support the utility in accurate billing of metered consumers
iii.Support the utility in ensuring that the utility provides timely communication and verification on queries raised
iv.Ensure the contract(s) signed between the utility and the contractor(s) are adhered to and implemented promptly
v.Support the utility in organizing meetings and participate effectively in these meetings to see that the bottlenecks impeding the smooth operation of the scheme are overcome as soon as possible
vi.Participate in preparation of payment certificates to the contractors as per the contract.
Reporting
i.Prepare monthly general and technical reports capturing the achievements of the reporting period, the constraints/challenges faced and the reasons for the variance from the work plan.
ii.The reports shall be submitted to the water utility and copied to WSTF and County Government of Water not later than 5th day of each month.
Capacity Building
i.Provide on the job training / mentorship to Water Utility technical and non-technical staff responsible for the;
Operation and maintenance of the infrastructure.

ii.Provide technical support to the water utility enabling staff to carry out all necessary maintenance and repair works where necessary.
iii.Advice on actions /interventions (support measures).
Communication
i.Provide support to utilities to develop and implement communication strategies by:
Establishing and promoting open communication channels
Documenting impacts of Water Fund investments on communities.
Documenting operation and maintenance process to promote knowledge management in the water sector.
ii.Provide timely feedback to water utilities stakeholders
Sustainability of utilities
Support sustainability initiatives of Water Fund investments and support the utilities in undertaking to the following;
Development and implementation of Financial Sustainability Action Plans
Development and implementation of Standard Operation Procedures for utility infrastructure.
Establishment of ways and mechanisms that will help reduce the rate of Non Revenue Water in the respective utilities.
Domestication and implantation of Training Action Plans as developed by KEWI and KEWASNET.
JAN 2018-JUNE 2019- INTERN WITH THE WATER SECTOR TRUST FUND (MRIMA WATER USERS ASSOCIATION)
I was engaged by the water sector trust fund as an intern with Mrima Water Users Association in Kwale County. During this engagement, I had the following duties.
