Began TREATER-IN-TRAINING approximately three months into my employment. Six months later became a TREATER. As a treater, I was responsible for the successful fracturing of a location from the beginning stages, such as spotting a location, to the end stage, rig down. Responsibilities also included both employee supervision and employee safety for a minimum of 10 employees and a maximum of 25 employees during a shift. Ensured the accuracy of all calculations and the smooth running of an assigned job site. I was able to successfully communicate with internal personnel as well as external personnel including contracting consultants. Responsible for training of potential treaters. Promoted to FIELD SUPERVISOR. As a field supervisor, a key part of my job was to make sure locations were ready to set up for frac tanks, Effectively communicate with both consultants and third parties on estimated job start up..Ensured all necessary equipment was present on location. for the transportation of pumps to various locations. I learned how to rig up iron to the well head & ground/ check valves (pigs) & pumps to missile. Learned how to do valves & seats. After running sand for about a month, I was promoted to LINE BOSS for six months. During that time, I was taught the functioning basics of a pump and shown how to diagnose and troubleshoot any problems incurred. I learned how to operate a line truck. Soon after I was promoted to DATA VAN and learned how to run pumps, prime up pumps, how to set the trips. I learned to pressure test and set valves & seats. Promoted to C-10 OPERATOR, where I learned how to rig up a C-10 and how to figure out what pump capabilities were, including loading and rate. Learned to bucket test pumps, both work on and replace pumps, and ensure pumps were pumping the right and correct amount of chemicals. Promoted to FLUID TECH. Learned how to obtain and test water samples, which included treatment and adjustment of water. I learned to make gel samples, perform breaker tests, and sand sieve analysis. Observed the performance of the C-10 to ensure calculations and pumping were done correctly. Make necessary preparations and adjustments of chemicals/equipment for current/future jobs.
