• Overseeing and approving isolations and verifying hazardous-energy isolation prior to any servicing operation and removing each lockout or tags system when work completed.

• To issue, organize and supervise the day-to-day tasks of LOTO’s as required to support system turnover and PTW program.

• To coordinate installation, removal, and modification of LOTO’s as required to support system turnover and PTW to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

• To maintain a registry of systems (areas/equipment) that are being managed by the LOTO coordinator.

• To review permits, isolation log, P&ID’S, engineering drawings, blind register and isolation forms as required.

• To create and maintain system isolation records for documentation.
