Professional Summary
Over my four years at Louisiana Tech, I have taken many classes that pertain to the Associate Instrument Design position. Last summer I had an internship with an Engineering firm called EMA. While they primarily focused on HVAC, I learned a lot of useful cliental skills that can be implemented in this position. For my capstone project and an assignment for a senior level class, it was necessary for me to learn vibrational behavior software. Through the group projects at Tech I have become good at dealing with people and being a productive member of a team.
Previous Experience
EMA, Inter June 2023 – July 2023
Trained in different positions and worked with a variety of personnel.
Gained experience in customer service, and communication with clients.
Obtained hands on experience visiting worksites, meeting with clients, and designing the best solution.
Education
College, Graduate August 2024
Mechanical Engineering Major
Relevant Coursework:
Mechanical Vibrations Gained intensive knowledge on vibrational behavior. Had a project where I needed to run a vibration diagnosis on a machine part using vibrational behavioral software.
Machine Element design Gave insight to how much imbalance a rotor system can handle before failure is likely.
Capstone Designed and fabricated shafts and bearings for a mass rotor system to simulate 2X excitation, anisotropic stiffness, and reverse procession. Recorded and analyzed data with software given to us by our project sponsor.
