• Review the information against the AUS submitted, if applicable, or against lender guidelines. Run Compliance Engine against the documentation provided and determine if the exceptions and ratings are valid or are inaccurate due to inaccurate data entry.
• Providing feedback to the underwriter due to the corrections that are made as a learning opportunity and for growth to improve their knowledge and future quality.
• Meet with Customer Service Managers, Quality Managers and Personnel Managers, regularly to learn about new guideline changes for the lenders we work with, provide feedback on common trends that are noted as being completed incorrectly, offer advice on how to facilitate training methods to assist underwriters with understanding and recognizing invalid exceptions and listen to areas that I can improve my performance.
• Regularly monitor my own Quality Control scores to identify areas that I can improve my performance. Using that knowledge to attempt to keep my QC score above 99.8%.
